Mott Hall High School’s faculty passionately care about supporting our students and inspiring them to realize their dreams for the future. One of our greatest priorities is teaching students to develop their critical thinking skills and social-emotional health and resiliency.
Our mission is to intellectually prepare, emotionally engage, and cognitively challenge all of our students so they are ready for college and post-secondary success, empowered as citizens, and on a journey to self-actualization. We hold ourselves accountable to providing a culturally responsive education, to embracing values of self-awareness and social justice and providing a space of healing for those in need of it.

MHHS Community, thank you for visiting our new website. We are in the process of updating our website and thank you for your patience and continuous support.
At Mott Hall High School Harlem, we teach the whole person - we challenge and inspire our young people to use their minds well by engrossing them in knowledge and teaching them skills that are relevant, expanding their understanding of the world through experiences that engage and excite their curiosity. We also support their emotional well-being and foster its development, enmeshing them in a culture of belonging. Every student is part of a class called Crew, led by a Crew leader, who shephards no more than fifteen students through the intense academic and social demands of high school.
